BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH PROJECT

The Dojo Hub Biomedical Research Internship, in collaboration with Makerere University, set out to address critical gaps in Uganda’s biomedical sector. Through weekly research sprints, interns explored biomedical education, medical equipment, local innovations, regulatory frameworks, and entrepreneurship opportunities. The project highlights challenges and opportunities for building a sustainable, innovative biomedical ecosystem in Uganda and Africa.
